Drug & Alcohol Testing

One of the most essential goals of employers is to provide a safe and healthy work force. We help employers manage and reduce the risk of workplace substance abuse and impairment. We offer DOT or non-DOT regulated pre-employment testing in the method of collecting hair, oral fluid, or urine samples; alongside breath alcohol testing which determines the concentration of alcohol in a breath sample.

Nurse Medicals

These exams are conducted for health and safety purposes to determine if the worker is medically fit and able to perform safety-sensitive roles in the workplace. These assessments help to promote safety by managing employee’s risks and to ensure that they can perform their job without endangering themselves, their co-workers, and/or the environment.

Spirometry/Pulmonary Function Test

The measuring of breath is the most common of the Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), measuring lung function, specifically the amount (volume) and/or speed (flow) of air that can be inhaled and exhaled.

In Occupational settings, spirometry can be used to establish a baseline before assigning a worker to a job that could be physically demanding, and may require use of respirator, or may expose the worker to respiratory hazards such as chemicals, particulate dust, and reduced oxygen.

Vision Screening

Vision tests check many different functions of the eye. Some of the tests measure your ability to see details at near and far distances, check for gaps or defects in your field of vision, and evaluate your ability to see different colours. Vision tests are usually combined with physical exams as some jobs may involve hazards that could damage eyesight; so, it is best to implement vision assessments as baseline or periodic check ups to detect any risk of your employees’ vision loss due to work hazards.

Audiometric Testing

An audiometric test examines a person’s ability to hear tones at various frequencies and loudness. Testing your employees means you can protect them from industrial deafness and personal injury. Both short term and long-term effects of noise exposure can be prevented by timely recognition, evaluation, and control of noise exposure.
